The Mission of Friends of White's Woods

Mission:

The Friends of White's Woods (FWW) Nature Center believe in the value of natural areas and wish to protect them for this generation and future ones. It is the goal of FWW to assure that White's Woods Nature Center remain in a natural state, as nearly as possible. This organization's primary purposes shall be:

1. to preserve White's Woods Nature Center and promote the use and understanding of natural areas and the unique opportunities they offer.
2. to educate the general public about the value of natural areas in general, and White's Woods Nature Center in particular.
3. to assist community leadership in new business and new resident recruitment by helping to promote White’s Woods Nature Center, as a natural area and green space, as an important component of the community’s desirable quality of life.
